The UK is really going through some transformations right now, not sure it’s all good. They have recently proposed a ban on Straws, Cotton buds and coffee stirrers. I can’t say that I don’t agree with some of their thought process, that Plastic waste is one of the greatest environmental challenges we are dealing with today. Plastic bags are already out most places so this is just a natural progression. I think in place of the plastic stirrers they should make the stirrer out of sugar that melts into your coffee…double duty. Read more HERE.
