A few weeks ago I talked about the fact that there are a large amount of Americans that arenât prepared for an emergency where they could cover 500 if needed. On the flip side of that, thereâs good news that Americans with $1m retirement savings is at a record high. Last year the average balance was $91,300 dollars and about 72,000 workers had amassed $1 million or more in their 401K retirement plans.
