You don't really want to rake do you?

Still have leaves in your yard? Experts say you should avoid raking. Dry dead leaves are great wildlife habitate for small animals. Also, it’s natures natural mulch and fertilizer. When you rake leaves you are removing that benefit that you’ll pay for in the spring. By the way, butter flies and songbirds depend on leaf litter. One more thing, Food scraps and yard waste make up to 20 to 30 percent of what we throw away so not raking is environmentally friendly. I always suggest just mowing over the leaves a few times to start the process of breaking those down. Trying to get out of raking, the story is HERE!
